Blog on FDI and International Trade by Alphabetical Order https://www.rozen-bakher.com/search-blog-1
This blog focuses on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and International Trade in a certain country or territory in terms of how the Location Factors (Political, Economic, Technological, Ecological, Legal and Cultural) and Entry Modes (e.g. M&As, Export and Greenfield) impact the attractiveness - or vice versa - the risks of FDI and International Trade in the certain country or territory, still, keep in mind that each risk may lead to an opportunity for resolving problems via suitable FDI and International Trade, while each opportunity for FDI and International Trade may involve risks.

Distance from Bonaire to Netherlands: 7,800 Km (Straight line distance Capital-to-Capital in Km, Map Developers)
Bonaire has been a Colony of the Netherlands since 1623 when the Dutch West India Company started its trade activity in Bonaire, mainly to export salt, still, Bonaire serves as a plantation island that was operated with slaves. After WWII, Bonaire has transformed into tourism hub, still, it still has a salt production and oil storage facility (see The Surprising Story Of Bonaire's Salt Pyramids - Forbes). Bonaire was part of the Netherlands Antilles from 1954 until 2010 when it was dissolved. Following that, in 2011, Bonaire started to use the US Dollar as its formal currency instead of the Euro like in the Netherlands. Currently, Bonaire has the status of a special municipality of the Netherlands namely, Bonaire has an elected local parliament, but does not have an elected Premier, and instead, Bonaire runs by a Governor that appointed by Netherlands.
